Green Shoots and rainy days ………

The Government is trying to convince us all that the economy is well on the way to recovery!  However, R3 have reported that 46% of adults in Yorkshire disagree and have yet to see an improvement in their personal finances.

The green shoots are welcome but many people are still struggling to make it to payday and are blaming the rising cost of living, crippling credit card debts and the fact that salaries are not increasing.

Peoples’ personal finances are really struggling, savings are dwindling and personal credit card borrowing is on the increase again.

The fact that so many people are struggling is worrying as many people are struggling to live let alone make any provision for a rainy day.  The “rainy day” fund may cover  unexpected events such as job losses, retirement or an increase in interest rates.

It is important for anybody facing financial difficulties, whether personally, directors of limited companies or partnerships, to seek advice from a licensed insolvency practitioner as soon as possible.
