Another potential way to get your money back!

It is sometimes difficult to get your money out of a bad debtor, even when you have a County Court Judgment (CCJ) against the debtor.

However, as long as you have the details of the debtor’s employer, you can apply for an attachment of earnings.  You will complete a Court standard form and the Court will obtain a statement of means from the debtor and work out how much they can afford to pay.  That amount is then deducted from the debtors wages, the employer sends the money to the Court and the Court sends it on to you.

It is important for anybody facing financial difficulties, whether personally, directors of limited companies or partnerships, to seek advice from a licensed insolvency practitioner as soon as possible.
