Carers simply didn’t care!

Two company directors, Thomas Gerald Atcheson and Linda Ann Atcheson, have been disqualified from acting as directors of a limited company for 13 years each.

Mr & Mrs Atcheson were the directors of a company that ran a care home for people with learning difficulties in Harrogate.

When the care home faced financial difficulties, the pair stole over £45,000 over a two year period, monies which were held in trust on behalf of the vulnerable residents in their care.

in addition, the pair have been found guilty of nine counts of fraud and were sentenced to two years in prison.

It is important for anybody facing financial difficulties, whether personally, directors of limited companies or partnerships, to seek advice from a licensed insolvency practitioner as soon as possible.
