Scams Awareness month are aiming to make people aware of rogue health supplement companies who are targeting elderly and vulnerable people.

Nine health supplement companies have been wound up by the Insolvency services since 2016. E.g. Healthspring Wellness Product Limited. These companies are scamming their customers, or should I say victims, by selling them health products which they don’t necessarily need.

An estimated 36,000 victims have fallen into the trap of buying their products, giving the scammers roughly £10.6 million. Scams awareness month aims to warn people about these companies.
