This time its Giraffe and Ed’s Easy Diner. The chains are owned by The Boparan Group who bought the struggling chains from Tesco in 2016.
However, despite the rise in sales, they have been hampered by rising costs including Business Rates and rents so are in the process of proposing a CVA to creditors. If the CVA is approved by creditors it has been reported that 27 sites face closure.
