More holiday chaos

It was bad news for holiday makers who have booked through Super Break and Late Rooms this morning, as these firms both entered administration while the Malvern Group which incorporates both firms, has ceased to trade.

Hotel only holidays booked though Super Break will be cancelled, those currently away on their holidays may have to pay for their hotel again, although their holidays are protected by ABTA.  However, at the moment, the company is reporting that bookings made through Late Rooms will be honored but watch this space!

It is worth remembering though that any extras, including trips and entertainment, which were pre-paid whilst booking the holiday, including gift vouchers will not be covered by ABTA and as such no refunds will be made, although it is probable that rail tickets etc will still be valid.  Late Rooms bookings are not covered by ABTA.

Holiday makers may be able to claim from their bank if they have paid for their holidays with a credit card and need to contact their bank for advice.
