The director of C & C Transport Limited has been banned from being the director of a company for 12 years.

Lisa Crawshaw and her fellow directors sold the company and it was only when letters from creditors started to arrive that the other directors discovered that she had stolen £1.7m from the company.

Ms Crawshaw gave an undertaking to the Court and she will not be able to directly or indirectly, become involved in the promotion, formation of management of a company for 12 years.
