Andrew is the founder of Redman Nichols Butler and is a nationally recognised expert in insolvency, turnaround and corporate recovery work. He is a licensed insolvency practitioner, a chartered accountant and a certified accountant, a member of The Insolvency Practitioners’ Association, R3 and The Association of Non-Administrative Receivers. He is also a member of The Institute of Credit Management and The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Andrew deals with all aspects of turnaround, corporate recovery and insolvency work and has in recent years specialised in advising owner managed businesses in most industry sectors.

John trained with two national practices and is a chartered accountant and a licensed insolvency practitioner. He became a partner with Redman Nichols Butler in December 2008.
John has several years of insolvency and turnaround experience and advises a variety of owner managed businesses.
Educated at Hymers College in Hull, he graduated from Nottingham University with a degree in economics.
When he is not training for triathlons, John takes an active interest in his family farming business.

Stephanie joined Redman Nichols Butler in 2000 and swiftly progressed to become an expert in personal and corporate insolvency, passing her Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) in June 2003.
She manages a large portfolio of insolvency cases from various industry sectors including retailing, manufacturing and the motor trade, as well as a substantial number of personal insolvency cases. She heads up our personal insolvency team and has extensive experience in dealing with individuals facing financial difficulties.

Stella joined Redman Nichols Butler in 1999 and is the firm’s office and marketing manager. Prior to joining the firm, she was the estate manager for a substantial East Yorkshire farming business, from which she brought a wealth of experience in office and business management.
Most mornings before work will find Stella at the swimming pool and at the moment lots of her spare weekends at taken up following Status Quo around with her husband Andy who is writing a book on the band.

Janice joined Redman Nichols Butler in 2004 and brought with her over 15 years of insolvency experience with Hodkin and Company.
Janice passed her Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency in 1995, therefore, has extensive knowledge and experience of all types of insolvency procedures, both corporate and personal.
Having an apartment in France, Janice is our resident expert in all things French. Janice and her partner Richard spend time in France as often as possible.

Prior to joining Redman Nichols Butler in 2003, Mary was responsible for 15 years for the accounting function within a large Plc in the south of England.
Mary is head of the firm’s control and compliance department along with dealing with our business banking and making sure cases are closed in a timely manner.
Mary and her partner Howard are renovating a house in Cottingham at the moment, but being a Hull FC season ticket holder she drops her paintbrush and goes to as many matches as she can.

Katy has a degree in sports and adventure management and has recently passed her AAT level 2 exam. Katy worked in a management role in retail before joining Redman Nichols Butler. Katy deals with all our creditor claims and payment of dividends along with lots of other duties we throw at her.

Belinda joins us from a successful restaurant business for which she was the manager. Belinda is responsible for the cashiering and banking side of our business, along with the control and compliance function.

Molly Leighton Pratt
Molly is our newest recruit and has come from Driffield School and Sixth Form after completing her A-levels. She is a very keen skier and has spent the last season in the French Alps working as a chalet host & cook.
Molly has worked in catering from the age of 15 but is looking forward to a new career in insolvency. She loves spending time at home with her family and going out with friends.
