The end of this month will see the end of some of the Government Support Schemes, particularly the end of the restrictions on issuing winding up petitions which was introduced to protect companies from creditor action during the pandemic and landlords will be given the green light to issue eviction notices.

The Furlough Scheme will continue until the end of September and this may well be the final nail in the coffin for many businesses which have been unable to trade during the last 18 months.
