Landlords are coming out fighting in the dispute between them and their tenants, as more tenants propose CVAs, the proposals of which allow them to write off historic unpaid rent.

The British Property Federation have written to Alok Sharma asking him to end the moratorium which was introduced at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.  The property owners are arguing that the moratorium is making UK Plc an unattractive place to invest.

The Moratorium has been extended until the end of the year.  The Government have stressed that those businesses which could pay their rent should do so.
