Can an employee on furlough claim redundancy pay?

If an employee is furloughed and subsequently been made redundant due to the insolvency of the company they worked for, they can make a claim for redundancy pay, as long as they have worked for the company for two years, including the furlough period, notice pay and any other money the company owes them, including any unpaid wages and holiday pay.

The insolvency practitioner dealing with the company will provide all employees with a CN number and all the details they need to make their claim.
