6 year ban for under declaring tax!

The director of a Hove restaurant has been banned for 6 years after it was found that he under declared the amount of tax due by failing to record the sales accurately.

Emad Abdolkhani traded as the Barcode Restaurant, which ceased to trade in 2019 when a winding up order was made following a petition from HMRC.

Mr Abdolkhani did not deny his wrongdoings and gave an undertaking to the Court not to act as a director of a company directly or indirectly becoming involved, without the permission of the court, in the promotion, formation or management of a company for 6 years.
